By the end of March 2009 India had approximately 400 million subscribers with 350 million being mobile subscribers. We expect the subscribers to grow to 700 million by the year 2013.There are new licenses for 2G i.e., Telenor, Datacom, Etisalat, Loop, Reliance and Tata with GSM.
